List of the best creams for blackheads on the face in the pharmacy

Blackheads (open comedones) are one of the forms of acne on human skin. Most often they are localized on the nose or chin, less often on the forehead. Such a rash is not dangerous for human health, but from an aesthetic point of view it is an unpleasant phenomenon.

You can remove blackheads from the skin on your nose using one of the products offered by modern cosmetology, or using proven folk methods.

Causes of blackheads

The appearance of blackheads (comedones) is the result of poor quality facial skin care.
Comedones are pores of the epidermis clogged with excess sebum and keratinized particles. The appearance of blackheads also contributes to:

  • Diet violation – abuse of sweet foods, smoked, fried foods, coffee, alcohol;
  • using low-quality or unsuitable cosmetics for your skin type;
  • systematic contact with dust, dirty hands;
  • improper use of foundation, powder;
  • hormonal imbalance;
  • gastrointestinal diseases;
  • poor functioning of the endocrine system.

Increased formation of blackheads with regular and proper care is a reason to consult a dermatologist for a diagnostic examination.

Medications

In most cases, products containing salicylic acid are recommended in the fight against blackheads.

  • Klerasil - it was invented in the USA more than 50 years ago. With regular use, the result will be noticeable within 4-5 days. The drug cleanses the upper layers of the skin, refreshes it and kills pathogenic microflora. Promotes wound healing.
  • Garnier scrub is a delicate product that reduces the activity of the sebaceous glands, protecting the skin from the appearance of comedones. The tonic from this series is also used against blackheads. In addition to salicylic acid, it contains zinc. With regular use of the product, sebum production is regulated and pores are narrowed.

Other effective remedies for blackheads:

  • Skinoren - the active substance is azelaic acid. The drug slows down the process of cell division and inhibits bacteria that cause rashes.
  • Zinerit - contains the antibiotic erythromycin and zinc. Effectively acts against inflammation, microbes, comedones.
  • Baziron is the active substance benzoyl peroxide, which is converted to benzoic acid on the skin. The drug inactivates bacteria and dissolves dead skin cells.
  • Differin with synthetic vitamin A (adapalene). It regulates the formation of blackheads and prevents their reappearance.

Attention! A consultation with a dermatologist is required to choose the appropriate remedy for blackheads.

How to remove blackheads on nose

You can get black ones out of the skin on your nose using special cosmetics or folk remedies. As a rule, with a large number of comedones, an integrated approach to eliminating the problem is required, which includes not only the direct removal of the spots, but also the elimination of the cause of their formation.

Medications

Pharmacy products help effectively and permanently get rid of the formation of blackheads. As a result of their use, the sebaceous glands are not only cleansed of substances clogging them, but also begin to work correctly. According to experts, the following drugs are most effective:

  1. Retinoic ointment. The active ingredient of the drug is retinol (vitamin A), which regulates the functioning of the sebaceous glands, reducing their activity, and has an anti-inflammatory effect.
  2. Differin is a synthetic version of retinoic acid. The ointment softens dried nodules, relieves inflammation, and regenerates the skin.
  3. Zinc ointment – cleanses, tightens pores, destroys bacteria.
  4. Ichthyol ointment. Its action is based on increasing blood circulation in the epidermis, which helps reduce inflammation. Ichthyol ointment is used by mixing in a 4:1 ratio with glycerin.

Ointment with retinol or its derivatives should not be used on hot sunny days. The substance increases the exposure of the epidermis to ultraviolet rays, and burns and age spots form on the face.

Cosmetic products

Cosmetologists offer their own versions of medicinal ointments, creams and gels to consumers. Unlike medicinal ointments, they have a gentler effect on the skin, since the percentage of active ingredients is reduced. The advantage of cosmetic products is the minimum of contraindications and side effects.

  1. Baziron is a French cream for removing blackheads and acne. After its use, the skin is freed from excess fat, begins to breathe actively, and acquires an even tone.
  2. Propeller is a domestic mattifying and cleansing agent. Available in the form of gel and cream.
  3. Clenzit is an Indian drug for the treatment of acne and blackheads. To obtain lasting results, the cream must be used for three months, even if there are no external manifestations of blackheads.

Strips and patches

American dermatologist Sijel Shah compares strips from blackheads with strong patches, which, when torn off, tear off all the dirt accumulated in the pores of the epidermis.

Despite the variety of strips and patches, they all have the same structure: a layer of polymer is applied to the fabric base, which adheres to the sebaceous pores, penetrates them and, at the moment of tearing off, pulls out the clogging particles.

The nose strips are glued to previously cleaned, steamed skin and smoothed to remove air. At the end of the validity period, after about 10–20 minutes, the strip is removed, starting to tear off from the periphery to the center. After the procedure, the nose is wiped with tonic or micellar water.

The most effective and popular strips and patches for blackheads:

  • Propeller.
  • Cettua.
  • Biore.
  • Tony moly.
  • Bon Voyage.
  • Nesura.
  • VIA Beauty.

Folk remedies

At home, you can remove blackheads using folk remedies. The cleaning procedure begins with a steam bath with herbal mixture. They use decoctions of oak bark, calendula, St. John's wort, chamomile, and sage. For dry skin, it is recommended to use wormwood and yarrow. For high fat content – chamomile or horsetail.

The bath is prepared from 60 gr. herbs poured with 1 liter of boiling water. The broth is infused for 10 minutes, a few drops of eucalyptus or lemon oil are added to it. The face is steamed over the broth, covered with a towel, for 10–15 minutes. If your skin is sensitive, 5 minutes is enough.

An alternative to a steam bath is a hot compress. A piece of gauze, folded in several layers, is moistened in a decoction prepared according to the recipe described and applied to problem areas for 15 minutes. After a compress or bath, cleansing masks are used:

  1. Egg. Whip the egg white into a strong foam and apply to the wings of the nose. The top of the mask is covered with a paper napkin, and it is also covered with protein. After drying, the napkin is removed from bottom to top.
  2. Gelatinous. To prepare, mix 1 tbsp. l. milk, crushed activated carbon tablet and 1 tsp. gelatin. The mixture is heated in a water bath or in the microwave. After the gelatin dissolves and swells, the mixture is slightly cooled and applied to the skin. After drying, the resulting film is removed from bottom to top.
  3. Clay. The powder is diluted with warm water or herbal decoction and applied to the nose. The duration of the procedure for dry skin is 5–7 minutes, for normal skin – 10 minutes, for oily or combination skin – 15–20 minutes.
  4. Oatmeal. The crushed cereal is diluted with kefir, a little olive oil is added and applied to the skin. Wash off after 20 minutes, after massaging.

Mechanically, blackheads can be removed using self-prepared scrubs:

  • from sugar (2 tsp) and olive oil (12 ml);
  • from natural yogurt (2 tbsp), lemon juice (1/2 tsp), fine salt (1/2 tsp) and honey (1/2 tsp);
  • from salt (5 g) and sour cream (30 ml).

Lubricate the nose with the prepared scrubs using massaging movements, and after 5 minutes wash off with warm water.

Modern cosmetology

Effective procedures for cleansing the skin of blackheads are offered by beauty salons. Deep cleansing procedures help remove unnecessary contents from the deeper layers of the skin. Modern cosmetology offers the following procedure options:

  1. Chemical peeling is the effect of special acids on the epidermis. The procedure is contraindicated for those with sensitive skin. After cleansing, the skin looks inflamed for several days. But after recovery, the client gets rid of blackheads on his nose for a long time.
  2. Vacuum cleaning is a painless and most gentle procedure performed with a special device. The process is reminiscent of a vacuum cleaner. The device removes dead skin cells, making it smooth and velvety.
  3. Ultrasonic cleaning is the use of a special device that emits pulses. Ultrasonic waves soften contaminants accumulated in the pores, then remove them out.

Modern cosmetology

The most effective and popular way to combat acne in beauty salons is mechanical facial cleansing. The regularity of such cleaning is once every 6-8 weeks. (Read about acne

  • Vacuum – blackheads are removed with a special device. A tube is applied to the comedone, into which, when exposed to low pressure, the blockage is sucked out, clearing the sebaceous duct.
  • Chemical – a mask of fruit acids is applied to problem areas. It promotes the expansion of pores, dissolving the contents of comedones.
  • Ultrasonic – destruction of blackheads occurs under the influence of ultrasound.

Zinc ointment

Inexpensive zinc ointment successfully copes with minor dermatological problems and has healing properties. The product gently dries inflamed areas, and the presence of petroleum jelly in the composition prevents excessive drying and ensures skin regeneration. Zinc helps narrow pores, and the pronounced antiseptic properties of the ointment for blackheads prevent the active proliferation of pathogens.

Before applying the ointment, it is recommended to steam the skin over a steam bath to open the pores. The skin must first be cleaned. Keep the ointment for blackheads on the face for 10 minutes, then rinse and apply moisturizer. It is advisable to carry out the procedure before going to bed or take into account that after this it is advisable not to go outside for several hours, because when steamed skin comes into contact with an aggressive external environment, there is a risk of encountering more serious problems in the future than blackheads and single pimples.

Strips and patches

Today, special strips and patches are very common for removing blockages on the nose. They are glued to the problem area and then torn off. The effectiveness of these products is due to the presence of absorbents - coal and clay. Additionally, they contain astringent, antibacterial, and matting components. To facilitate the release of sebum from blockages, you can steam your face first.

Well-known strip manufacturers:

  • Lioele;
  • Cettua;
  • Nivea;
  • "Propeller";
  • Skinlite.

In combination with the listed products, you can use cosmetics containing fruit or AHA acids. They dissolve comedones, cleansing the pores.

The use of acids is preferable to scrubs and peels with abrasive substances. If you have acne, blackheads should be removed using more gentle means. Scrubs can damage the skin causing additional inflammation.
