Contraindications

Parsley is a plant that grows in the garden, in the garden, on the windowsill and in other favorable conditions. It is not whimsical and safe, but before you prepare a mask based on it, you need to make sure that you do not have an individual intolerance to this product. To detect an allergic reaction, you need to do a skin test: lubricate your wrist with parsley juice and observe the treated area for half an hour. If there is no redness, itching or other reactions, the composition can be applied to the face.

If you experience any discomfort during the test, stop using it as a cosmetic product. This is a signal of an allergy.

Pigmentation is an unpleasant cosmetic defect that does not require treatment. To get rid of stains, it is allowed to use various available methods, ranging from professional salon procedures to recipes for home use. Parsley is one of the best whitening agents. The results in the photos in the reviews confirm the effectiveness of its use even in the most difficult cases. Greenery-based masks are safe and beneficial for skin health.

Cosmetic ice

To improve blood circulation, preserve youth and skin tone, you need to wipe your face with ice every morning. In salons this procedure is called cryomassage. Even simple ice made from mineral water will bring noticeable results. And parsley ice will exceed all expectations:

  • will rejuvenate the skin, smooth out even deep wrinkles;
  • will relieve inflammation;
  • eliminates acne, whitens acne marks;
  • improves complexion, removes “grayness”;
  • lightens pigment spots;
  • will remove bruises and bags under the eyes, swelling;
  • tightens and cleanses pores.

Ice is made from a decoction, the recipe of which is selected according to skin type. Then pour into molds and store in the freezer.

Every morning you need to wipe your face along the massage lines. For 1 procedure use 1 ice cube. He cannot be kept in one place due to the risk of frostbite. You shouldn’t wipe your face afterwards; let the composition absorb so that the active ingredients penetrate deeper into the pores.

Attention! The procedure is done at least an hour before going to bed or going outside.

For some reason, not everyone can wash their face with ice. Contraindications:

  • allergy to cold;
  • damaged skin;
  • rosacea – blood vessels are close to the skin;
  • viral diseases;
  • inflammation of the sinuses.

Causes of pigmentation

Uneven skin tone may well be inherited.
White spots are a disease of vitiligo, in which in some areas of the skin the pigment melanin that colors it is simply not produced in sufficient quantities or is completely absent. Dark ones are when there is too much of it. Such a deviation can also be written into the DNA structure. Typically, pigmentation appears with age under the influence of external or internal causes. More often - their combinations.

Here are the factors that have the strongest impact on melanin production:

  • Injuries. There is such a thing as post-traumatic pigmentation. Dark marks can remain after acne, ulcers, thermal and chemical burns, or in places where the skin has been severely torn off. By the way, after aggressive anti-aging procedures performed unprofessionally (microdermabrasion, laser resurfacing, chemical peeling), this problem can also arise.
  • Hormonal imbalance. Hormones are small but very powerful regulators of all vital processes occurring in the body. With sudden changes in hormonal levels, the production of melanin is also disrupted and pigmentation may appear. This happens when oral contraceptives or hormone-containing drugs are taken incorrectly, thyroid diseases, diabetes mellitus, pregnancy and lactation.
  • Medications. Some of them (for example, tetracycline antibiotics, sulfonamides, etc.) affect the skin's sensitivity to light. They are called photosensitivity. They significantly increase the risk of hyperpigmentation when the skin is exposed to sunlight.
  • Ultraviolet. The body's reaction to its influence is darkening of the skin. When it is too intense, disruptions occur in normal natural processes. As a result, extensive dark spots appear in certain areas. Moreover, getting rid of such pigmentation can be very difficult.

The problem can also be caused by bad habits, constant lack of sleep, severe and prolonged stress, chronic diseases of internal organs, and skin infections. We need to fight it starting from the source. Otherwise, any measures, even the most radical ones, will give only very short-term results.

Hydrolate

In another way I call flower water - a valuable facial care product. It is obtained from plants through distillation. Hydrolate extracts even more useful substances from raw materials than essential oil. This miracle remedy can be bought in specialized stores, or you can prepare it yourself.

Parsley hydrolate is suitable for all skin types.

Cooking process:

  • pour half a liter of distilled water into a large saucepan;
  • a sieve is placed in it so that it does not touch the bottom;
  • place a glass bowl on the sieve,
  • pre-washed and dried parsley is laid out around it;

Attention! It is recommended to make hydrolate from fresh raw materials.

  • then the structure is covered with a lid, the handle should be directed downward, condensate will be drawn dropwise into the bowl;
  • the joint between the lid and the pan is tightly wrapped with foil to prevent steam from escaping;
  • After boiling, turn the heat to minimum and boil for about 2 hours.

By this time, a full bowl of hydrolate is collected. It is cooled and poured into sterile containers. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.

Flower water can be obtained from any plant material: flowers, herbs, nuts.

This water is ideal as a tonic. It does not need to be diluted.

In the summer, the hydrosol is poured into a spray bottle and used as thermal water. It protects the skin from ultraviolet rays, tones, mattifies, makes it soft and silky.

Parsley for the face is a very useful remedy, as it is natural, affordable, effective and versatile. With regular use, it will help preserve beauty and youth for a long time.

Tops or roots?

Tops or roots?

Tonics and masks with parsley exist in different variations. So, some people prefer a mask of parsley and sour cream, others like to add some of the base oils to the plant. And some people simply pour hot water over the chopped stems. The most important thing is that the parsley mask in all these versions has an excellent effect on the skin and allows a woman to solve some delicate problems.

The plant contains:

  • thiamine and pectin (they help relieve inflammation);
  • carotene (restores skin, promotes its regeneration);
  • phosphorus and potassium (have bleaching properties).

In addition, the delicious aromatic herb contains many vitamins, in particular B, C, D - that is, those that are especially necessary for the skin at any age.

Parsley and sour cream mask

Do you need a whitening parsley face mask? It is easy to prepare from this plant, adding a softening and skin-nourishing component to enhance the effect - for example, sour cream or full-fat yogurt. A mask of parsley and sour cream is a wonderful remedy for returning the skin to a perfectly even tone and giving it a velvety feel.

Beginning “at-home cosmetologists” who are just starting to master various masks and other care products made according to folk recipes may have a question: what is better to use? When a mask with parsley can bring the greatest benefit - when the following is taken as an ingredient for creams and masks:

Parsley mask

  • stems with leaves;
  • roots;
  • seeds.

So, it doesn’t really matter which part of the plant you use: the components our skin needs are contained in all of them, so a whitening mask with parsley will have an effect even if you take dried roots instead of fresh herbs. However, women who get rid of age spots with the help of this plant believe that there can be nothing better than fresh stems and leaves, just picked from the garden.
