Boric soap - this special cosmetic substance contains a minimal amount of boric acid and mink oil. Gently cleanses the face and body. Effective for problem skin: helps remove acne, pimples, blackheads on the skin. It has a good bactericidal effect. Quickly reduces excessive sweating. With the help of Boric soap you can get rid of fungal diseases, thrush and prickly heat. The product relieves itching and inflammation after mosquito bites, and also heals small wounds and cracks. Not recommended for regular use by children and pregnant women.
Remarkable properties of Boric soap
Each bar of solid soap acts with an alkaline composition on the protective top layer of the skin with an acidic composition. Boric acid is added to soap to reduce the aggressive effects of alkali and neutralize it. The use of Boric soap is especially effective in the following cases:
- If the water in the source is hard, Boric soap can soften the composition of the water.
- It has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects for allergies, insect bites, and the occurrence and development of boils.
- Soap helps remove viruses; it is necessary during flu epidemics and other diseases,
- Useful for people suffering from acne, pimples, boils, bacterial colonies.
- Soap has the ability to rid a person of fungus wherever it settles: on the skin of the extremities, nails, or on the mucous membrane.
- It is an indispensable product for people who have oily skin and suffer from excessive sweating.
- The mink oil it contains is very close in composition to human tissue, and therefore maintains the elasticity and softness of the skin, accelerates the healing of microscopic cracks and wounds, and eliminates drying out of the surface of the skin. With mink oil, the skin receives vitamins and a portion of unsaturated fatty acids.
- Boric soap is remarkable because it does not contain cosmetic dyes, perfumes or harmful bactericidal additives.
- After washing, the foam is easily removed; a person does not have the feeling of unwashed fat. The skin becomes fresh and silky. Soap helps remove excess pigmentation, narrow skin pores and even out its surface.
Soap Nevskaya cosmetics Bornoe
Perhaps boric soap is the last soap from Nevskaya Cosmetics that I tried to make friends with my skin. Before this, there was tar, sulfur and white clay soap, none of them were suitable for daily washing of problem skin, each has some kind of drawback that forces it to be pushed away.
Description
Boric soap comes in standard NC packaging - a simple envelope made of coated paper with a minimalist design.
Weight. In a block 90 g.
Price 25 rubles.
There are ingredients on the packaging and there are promises, but they forgot to write how often and for how long you can use this soap.
Personally, I smell a very slight smell, but I can’t even roughly describe it, I will only say that it is neutral and not at all irritating.
The soap lathers up just fine even with your hands, and it’s generally great with a sponge. If desired, you can make a whole cap of foam.
When I apply the foam to my skin, I don’t experience any unpleasant sensations, but when I wash it off, the inflammation that has been touched by soap stings a little. It’s a little strange that just foam doesn’t irritate the skin, but when it comes into contact with a large amount of water it starts to react.
After washing, a light, paraffin-like coating remains on the skin. Perhaps it is because of this that the skin looks lighter.
My skin is combination type, sensitive, prone to clogged pores and acne.
Effect of use
I didn’t dare use boric soap on my entire body; at the end of summer, our water always spoils and my shoulders itch, so I was afraid that soap might worsen the problem.
But it doesn’t dry out my facial skin at all. After washing, the skin is clean, fresh and paler/lighter than usual, but then this goes away. Does not tighten, peeling does not appear.
Little by little, the pores began to lighten and inflammation went away.
At first I was completely delighted, such an effect from such a simple, cheap product, but the joy quickly ended.
After about three weeks of daily use, small white bumps began to appear on my cheeks and forehead, they looked like clogged pores. In just a couple of days, I was showered with the most I couldn’t, and then all this joy began to inflame one by one.
The spectacle was impressive; it was really scary to approach the mirror. Boric soap stopped helping inflammation go away faster, acne remained on the face for a week or longer, without even thinking about going away, as if it had gone into hibernation.
During this period, I didn’t change anything except soap in my skincare routine and didn’t even do makeup, because I was on vacation. Nothing but soap came to mind, so I replaced it with my usual soft washing gel.
I can’t say that the next day I immediately woke up beautiful, but after about a week, almost all the ugliness disappeared, and the skin almost returned to its original appearance. Almost - the inflammation has gone away, but the clogged pores have not gone away, and now they will have to be dealt with separately.
And also, at the very beginning of washing with boric soap, a couple of pimples popped up on my chest, I also treated them with soap once a day, and after three days I forgot about them. No new pimples appeared, I no longer used soap in this area.
What I’m actually getting at is that it seems to me that the skin gets used to boric soap, and it stops working positively, but for some reason it starts to make things worse. Those. You can use this soap for a short course - a couple of days, a maximum of a week, but no longer.
Perhaps I have an individual intolerance, but somehow it took a long time to sway.
Pros:
+ gently cleanses
+ foams well
+ affordable
+ another serious plus for me is that after this soap I realized that at my age it’s time to stop toiling around with foolishness and switch to normal pharmaceutical and medical care.
Minuses:
- leaves a residue on the face
— three weeks later I was showered, and the soap stopped working
Summary
I think that this soap can be used in emergency cases and for a short course, then it has time to dry out old inflammations, but does not have time to harm the skin.
But personally, I’m not sure that I’ll ever be able to return to it again, so I don’t recommend it.

The benefits and harms of boric soap
The components that make up the product have long been widely used in medicine in the treatment of skin diseases. Thus, boric soap can be recommended in the following cases:

- Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, it is prescribed for the treatment of scratches, heavily contaminated wounds, and animal or insect bites.

Composition and beneficial properties
Boric soap contains the following main ingredients:
- Mink fat. The thoroughly purified natural component perfectly moisturizes and nourishes the epidermis, has excellent penetrating properties, thanks to which transport functions are performed.
- Boric acid. The chemical compound has a pronounced antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antifungal effect. In addition, boric acid neutralizes harmful alkali and quickly softens even the hardest water.
- Cosmetic glycerin. Moisturizes and protects the skin from flaking, drying out, and dehydration. Glycerin on the surface of the skin creates an invisible film that retains moisture.
It is worth noting that due to the most natural and safe composition, allergic reactions occur extremely rarely to boric soap.
Consumer Reviews
Judging by numerous reviews, the product is really very popular and works well.
Initially, I bought boric soap for my daughter, who is just in her teens. During this period, there are skin problems that are experienced by teenage girls, usually very painfully. My choice fell on boric soap for acne, reviews of which I read on the Internet. It did an excellent job with rashes not only on the face, but also on the back. The skin has become more uniform in color and smoother. Now my daughter uses it for prevention. It also helps me out, but from sweaty feet. So our family is very happy with the product!
I would also like to leave my opinion about this cheap, but at the same time effective remedy. For about three years I treated acne with expensive cosmetics. There was a positive effect, but it didn’t last long. But with boron-thymol soap the situation has changed radically. All the pimples on my back went away almost immediately, but only a few pimples remained on my face. I have been undergoing treatment for 4 months now - I usually wash my face with soap at night.
I use boric and sulfur soap, the reviews of which impressed me. Unfortunately, boric acid dries out my face, and I don’t like the smell. But the sulfur one worked perfectly. It left the skin clean, glowing and healthy. True, I don’t abuse it. I use it 2-3 times a week and always apply a nourishing or moisturizing cream to the skin after washing. For me this is the ideal mode. It hasn’t caused any side effects, and I’ve been washing my face with it for over a year now. Do I recommend sulfur soap? Yes!
Clean and beautiful skin requires attention, careful care and cleansing. With the help of inexpensive products you can perfectly combat the imperfections of any skin.
