Papillomas, or warts, are benign neoplasms of the skin and mucous membranes caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). Warts can be removed in various ways. Previously, silver nitrate solution was used in medicine in many areas. Thanks to its astringent, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect, it was used in the treatment of stomach and duodenal ulcers, and it was also used as a prophylaxis for conjunctivitis in newborn babies (after birth it was instilled and rubbed over the eyes). Today, the use of silver nitrate is not so widespread due to the fact that modern medicine has discovered more effective means.
Long-term oral administration of the drug causes so-called argyria , when the skin, nail beds, iris, mucous membranes and tissues of internal organs take on a gray-black or brown tint due to the fact that reduced silver is deposited in them.

- with organic substances (it is subject to decomposition),
- with water-soluble halides (bromides, iodides, chlorides),
- with reducing agents (novocaine, adrenaline, anesthesin, resorcinol),

Instructions for use

3) Lubricate the surface of the wart or papilloma with the tip of the lapis. Do not go on healthy skin. Do not press the pencil too hard, otherwise it will break.
4) At first you won't see anything.
5) After a few hours, the surface of the wart or papilloma will darken. This is normal - this is a skin reaction to silver nitrate.
6) The treatment area can be sealed with a bactericidal plaster.
7) Repeat this procedure every day 1-2 times a day.

Side effects
