How to properly treat condylomas at home

Condylomas are wart-shaped nodules. Their localization occurs in the perianal region. They collectively look a lot like cauliflower. There are also perianal condylomas of a pointed form.

There are often cases when doctors diagnose so-called conglomerates. These formations are quite large in size, which sometimes even cover the anus. Outwardly, they look like hemorrhoids. Of course, more often these are separate formations that are located over the entire surface of the perianal area, and between them there are free (unaffected) areas of skin.

When a patient is diagnosed with genital warts, this is a sign of papillomavirus infection.

More recently, experts argued that such infections are transmitted exclusively through sexual contact, but recent laboratory studies have proven that human papillomavirus infection can be transmitted from mother to child.

The virus itself spreads in the human body through the circulatory system. Virus cells attach to the epithelium of the anus and nearby tissues. Thus, the virus penetrates the DNA and causes epithelial cells to work differently.

Proliferation begins due to the fact that viral cells are actively growing and dividing.

Papillomaviruses - causes of condylomas

The concept of human papillomavirus infections combines several diseases caused by a virus that affects the skin and mucous membranes. It is known as the human papillomavirus - condylomas, papillomas, warts - this is his “hands”.

Today, more than 100 subtypes of this virus have been identified, causing warts, papillomas, and genital warts. Warts and papillomas have a more favorable prognosis; condylomas, including genital warts, deserve special attention.

Why? Why are genital warts dangerous? These formations can transform into malignant tumors if they are caused by 16, 18, 31, 33 and some other types of virus. Therefore, genital warts cannot be completely ignored - how to treat them is another question.

In women, genital warts (condylomas have this name) can be found on the labia, around the entrance to the vagina and urethra, and in the anus. In men, their favorite localization is the glans penis, frenulum, foreskin and anus. Often, condylomas spread to the skin of the buttocks, thighs and groin area.

What types of condylomas are there?

The shape of these formations can be different, so there are several types.
Condylomas acuminata have the appearance of gray-pink papillae on a stalk measuring only a few millimeters. They are located singly or in groups and are prone to rapid reproduction and fusion, so that one giant condyloma is formed.

An example of this form of the disease is Buschke-Levenshtein's giant condyloma. Individual small condylomas - the initial stage of giant condyloma - multiply very quickly, which is typical for this form, and are no different in appearance from ordinary pointed growths. Merging, they form a conglomerate with a wide base, separated by deep grooves and very similar to cauliflower.

A foul-smelling discharge forms in the furrows, and the surface of the condyloma becomes keratinized and irritated by its own secretions. Buschke-Levenshtein condyloma is capable of deeply germinating into the underlying tissue and degenerating into squamous cell carcinoma, from which it must be differentiated.

Mostly on the cervix of women and in the thickness of the mucous membrane of the urethra, flat condyloma is localized, difficult to distinguish during a simple examination. This type of condylomas causes cervical cancer, and therefore must be actively detected and treated.

Condylomas lata are also located on the genitals, which are a manifestation of the secondary period of syphilis, but the papillomavirus has nothing to do with them.

How are condylomas transmitted?

The disease is transmitted only from person to person, and the source of infection does not necessarily have to have condylomas - infection is also possible from a virus carrier.
In this case, the main way is sexual intercourse - heterosexual, homosexual, orogenital or anal. Expert opinion

Are condylomas contagious if you do not have sexual relations with the patient? With close household contact, infection with genital wart secretions through damaged skin is also possible.

It doesn’t matter how the virus that causes genital warts entered the body - the reasons for the external manifestation of the disease lie in the weakening of the immune system by constant overwork, stress, poor diet, hypothermia or overheating. Therefore, condylomas - the causes of which are precisely this - will never appear outwardly in a person with strong immunity.

Where do condylomas in children come from? Infection most often occurs during childbirth when a sick mother passes through the birth canal. Infection at home from sick adults is also possible, for example, when using the same towel.

The question of whether condylomas are dangerous for children can be answered in the affirmative. They, like in adults, multiply, merge and, if caused by certain types of virus, carry the threat of degeneration.

Therefore, genital warts in children should be treated in the same way as in adults. At the same time, in children, when attempting to eliminate genital warts, it is better not to use folk treatment.

Rules for treatment at home

The course of treatment includes several components:

  1. Proper nutrition.
  2. Taking drugs that stimulate the immune system.
  3. Use of antiviral creams.
  4. Folk remedies.

The virus develops in the body when the immune system is weakened - after a cold, depression or stress.
Condylomatosis, which is growing rapidly, must be treated. If comprehensive treatment is followed, the risk of condylomas disappears. If a viral disease appears unexpectedly and the formations do not decrease, you should consult a doctor. The article has been verified by the editors

If they are large or have spread to large areas of the skin, then you should not try to remove them at home.

Will the SDA faction help?

The ASD fraction is applied to condylomas for medicinal purposes three times a day.
The ASD fraction is an antiseptic Dorogov stimulant, a drug of animal origin used to treat many diseases. Two fractions are produced: ASD-2 (for internal use) and ASD-3 (for external use). When infected with the papilloma virus, a person uses the ASD-3 fraction, applying it to problematic formations 3-4 times a day.

Before you start using ASD for condylomas, you should consult your doctor, since the drug is unique and is not suitable for everyone. For some people, the product successfully helps get rid of papilloma-like growths. In others, on the contrary, it provokes an increase in growths in size, and leads to the fact that patients refuse treatment with this drug at home.

Removing condylomas at home using folk remedies

Removing condylomas at home is one of the types of combating the human papillomavirus. Treatment is necessary, since pathological formations lead to the development of a dangerous tumor. The body itself suppresses small growths on the body if the immune system is not reduced. Treatment of condylomas at home is impossible with rapid and disproportionate growth.

Treatment of warts with garlic

Condylomas can be treated with a proven folk remedy containing garlic. It is recommended to lubricate genital warts with garlic juice several times a day or apply pieces of garlic to them overnight. This must be done carefully so as not to burn the skin or mucous membrane around the condyloma. To do this, make a garlic plate the size of a condyloma and cover it with a band-aid on top.

The following folk recipe is used to treat genital warts and other sexually transmitted diseases. Its ingredients are red wine (100 ml), apple juice (50 ml), half a lemon and a couple of cloves of garlic. A thoroughly washed lemon is grated on a fine grater along with the peel and poured with warm wine and juice.

After this, garlic, previously crushed using a garlic grinder, is added to the mixture. The ingredients are mixed well and left for three hours. Condylomas should be lubricated two to three times a day.

Rub the condylomas with freshly squeezed juice of sour apples. The course of treatment is 10 days. Traditional medicine also recommends using the juice of duckweed, aloe, dandelion, grapevine and pineapple. Potato juice is suitable for internal use. You should drink it twice: in the morning on an empty stomach and in the evening before meals (half an hour before).

Red potato tubers are best suited for treatment. They need to be washed thoroughly, the eyes cleaned, grated on a fine grater or chopped using a meat grinder. Potato juice can be squeezed out through a double layer of gauze. The course of treatment is 2 months.

Recommendations

  1. There is no quick cure for condyloma. You should prepare for long-term treatment. It is important to remember three rules - what not to do. Condyloma cannot be cut, pulled with a thread or torn off. Such actions can lead to the transition of the neoplasm to the malignant phase.
  2. Most often, the problem appears due to a viral infection. During treatment and as a preventative measure, it is recommended to maintain the immune system in good working order. For this, it is recommended to use vitamin complexes and antiviral therapy.
  3. To improve the functioning of the immune system, folk recipes are also used. Infusions and decoctions of dandelion, St. John's wort, wormwood, motherwort and other herbs are recommended. Natural freshly squeezed juices of both fruits and berries and vegetables also help.
