Forms of release of the drug

To use Panthenol for the face, you need to choose one of the forms of the drug. Manufacturers have provided two forms of release: ointment and foam.

  • The ointment contains 5 g of active ingredient.
  • The aerosol is produced with different concentrations of dexpanthenol - 2.5 and 5 g.

The main difference between these forms of Panthenol is the excipients that carry out the active element and provide the desired structure of the drug.

The foam contains: emulsifying stearyl and cetyl alcohols, E218, E1520 (propylene glycol), disodium hydrogen phosphate 12-water, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, water and freon 134-a. When the medicine comes out of the can, a dense white foam is formed that is easy to distribute.

The ointment contains: petroleum jelly, anhydrous form of lanolin, petrolatum oil, wax, stearyl and cetyl alcohols, nipagin, water.
