Treatment of psoriasis with hydrogen peroxide: reviews. Psoriasis: symptoms and treatment. Is it possible to cure psoriasis?

Treatment of psoriasis with hydrogen peroxide- method of alternative medicine. Some patients note its effectiveness.

Despite the fact that peroxide has no contraindications, consult your doctor before taking the described course. Each organism is individual and sometimes it is unpredictable how someone will react to a treatment method.

Hydrogen peroxide has a disinfecting effect: it kills fungi, viruses, bacteria. That's why we use this remedy if we cut a finger or break a knee. This drug is in everyone's medicine cabinet.

What is hydrogen peroxide

Psoriasis is a non-infectious pathology that is autoimmune in nature. This dermatosis belongs to scaly lichen, since plaque-like structures form against the background of the disease. Such formations are well softened and eliminated by overhydrol.

Hydrogen peroxide is a colorless and odorless substance. The product is characterized by its solubility in water, tea, ethyl alcohol and oils of various origins. Perehydrol has a metallic taste and has many beneficial properties:

  • strong antioxidant;
  • stops bleeding;
  • disinfects wounds;
  • promotes regeneration of the epidermis.

The mechanism of action of peroxide on wounds is due to the release of large amounts of oxygen, which leads to accelerated healing of lesions.

Where to treat psoriasis?

The most famous places where psoriasis is treated include regions located on the coast of two seas - the Dead and Red Seas. People with psoriasis go to Israel, Jordan or Safag for healing. There, dry and hot air enhances the effect of sea baths, the water in which is oversaturated with salts, healing clays and sands.

However, positive results in the treatment of psoriasis have been achieved in clinics and resorts in Russia, the CIS countries and Europe. Hydrogen sulfide mud and healing clays are recognized as the healing factors of the Azov Sea. In Kazakhstan's Lake Alakol, where psoriasis is treated, there are completely unique salty waters with a chloride-sulfate-sodium composition.

In Azerbaijan, scaly lichen is treated with naphthalan baths, ointments and wraps, and in Abkhazia - at hydrogen sulfide springs. They go to get rid of psoriasis to the hydrogen sulfide springs of Perm, salt lakes located in the Crimea and near Rostov.

Properties of peroxide for psoriasis

Disturbances in metabolic processes provoke the appearance of psoriatic rashes. Pathological conditions develop against the background of excessive accumulation of waste, toxin compounds and various salt deposits. A condition characterized by disturbances in the body’s metabolic reactions is caused by various factors:

  • consumption of tobacco and alcohol products;
  • unbalanced diet;
  • infectious pathogens causing various pathological conditions;
  • complete absence or insufficient physical activity.

According to the observations of I.P. Neumyvakin, perhydrol can be taken even by people who do not have indications for such therapy, but for the preventive purpose of various pathological conditions. When treating psoriasis, peroxide must be taken daily, as when using it the following are observed:

  • increasing the body's defenses;
  • preventing the presence of diseases of various tumors;
  • reducing the likelihood of developing atherosclerosis;
  • prevention of stomach diseases;
  • elimination of pathologies in the genitourinary organs;
  • reducing the percentage of infection by invasive parasites;
  • preventive measures for colds;
  • oral cavity treatment;
  • reduction of nervous tension.

The professor believed that perhydrol was the safest substance for the treatment of psoriatic rashes. The main goal of therapy with this substance is to eliminate not only the symptoms of the disease, but also the plaque-like structures that form on the epidermis during psoriasis.

Treatment of psoriasis

It does not matter whether psoriasis is found on the hands or other parts of the body, treatment is carried out in two directions. First of all, efforts are directed at interrupting the cycle that causes accelerated growth of skin cells. This prevents the formation of plaques and reduces the inflammatory process. Secondly, local means remove scales and smooth the skin.

Drug treatment and photochemotherapy are carried out (when there are no contraindications to it). Phototherapy is prescribed if drug treatment has not been successful and the psoriasis (symptoms) has not improved. And treatment is required in more radical forms. The photochemotherapy method allows you to achieve an anti-inflammatory effect and correct immune processes.

With this technique, psoriatic plaques are exposed to UV rays. On the skin, under the influence of ultraviolet radiation, inflammatory reactions are suppressed. This method has side effects such as drying, redness and aging of the skin.

If psoriasis does not respond to photochemotherapy, the doctor moves on to systemic treatment methods, in which he prescribes medications by injection and orally. The method helps to significantly reduce the symptoms of lichen planus, simultaneously causing side effects such as toxic effects on the kidneys and liver.

For this reason, systemic therapy is selected strictly individually, based on blood tests. During the treatment process, blood tests and the patient’s health condition are monitored.

How to take peroxide for psoriasis according to Neumyvakin

Treatment of psoriasis according to Neumyvakin with hydrogen peroxide involves a preparatory stage, which consists of the following measures:

  • performing enemas to cleanse the intestines;
  • liver cleansing, carried out using mineral water and a heating pad;
  • after undergoing cleansing measures, drink freshly prepared juices;
  • drinking a glass of water on an empty stomach in the morning;
  • You can take enterosorbents.

Treatment of psoriasis according to Neumyvakin’s developments can begin only after the body has been completely cleansed of accumulated harmful substances.

Preparation

For the effectiveness of treatment of psoriasis using hydrogen peroxide, it is recommended to cleanse the colon with enemas before starting therapy. An ideal option is also to perform a liver cleansing beforehand. In traditional medicine, the following method is used: in the morning the patient drinks 250 ml of mineral water at room temperature without gas (the bottle must first be opened). It is recommended to add sorbitol or magnesium sulfate (5 g) to the water - this will promote intensive release of the gallbladder. Magnesia and sorbitol can also be replaced by collecting choleretic herbs.

After a quarter of an hour, the patient again takes 250 ml of water, after which he remains in a horizontal position with a heating pad in the area of the right hypochondrium for 1.5-2 hours.

After cleaning, you need to drink a large amount of freshly squeezed juice: carrot, apple, beetroot. Juices help further cleanse the liver. When the laxative effect has already been obtained, you can hold the heating pad for some more time.

Methods of treatment with hydrogen peroxide

In the presence of psoriasis, hydrogen peroxide is prescribed in several ways:

  • orally;
  • using compresses;
  • like droppers.

There are no restrictions when choosing to administer the active solution. The main goal of therapy is to normalize metabolic processes in the body. In this way, remission of psoriatic rashes is achieved and, accordingly, the negative consequences of the pathology are eliminated.

Ingestion

When taking peroxide orally during treatment for rashes, you must adhere to a certain application regimen:

  • for such use a 3% solution is required;
  • reception is carried out 3 times a day;
  • You must first dissolve the substance in water;
  • For psoriasis, you need to take peroxide an hour before meals or 2 hours after it;
  • the initial dosage cannot exceed 3 drops;
  • As the duration of therapy increases, the dose of the drug taken increases by 1 drop.

Basically, the course of therapy lasts approximately 10 days. Once completed, take a short break for a maximum of 4 days and repeat the course.

Treatment with compresses

Peroxide has proven its effectiveness when this substance is used in the form of a compression bandage on areas affected by psoriasis for this purpose:

  1. A 3% solution of perhydrol is purchased at the pharmacy.
  2. Prepare an emulsion based on 1 tablespoon of the active ingredient and 100 ml of water. It must be boiled to eliminate pathogenic microflora in the compress.
  3. The resulting solution is soaked into gauze and applied to areas of psoriatic rash.
  4. The duration of the compress is on average about 12 hours.

Sometimes a peroxide-based solution can be used to wash affected areas. The technique is carried out until the plaque-like structures on the epidermis completely disappear. Often the course of rinsing lasts up to 2 months.

Administration via IV

To carry out droppers with peroxide, you need to dissolve 1 ml of peroxide in 100 ml of physiological solution. When undergoing such therapy, it is necessary to adhere to a certain scheme, which is presented in the table.

Duration of treatmentAmount of peroxide
1 day100 ml
2 days150 ml
3 days200 ml
4 -7 days200 ml

When conducting such a course for psoriasis, it is mandatory to stay in the hospital under the supervision of medical personnel. This is necessary to prevent complications or adverse reactions.

Reviews

For a long time I did not dare to try to treat psoriasis using the Neumyvakin method. Most of all I was afraid of adverse reactions. Therefore, I first discussed the possibility of unconventional treatment with hydrogen peroxide with a doctor. He found no reason to forbid me from it. Now I am finishing a course of therapy with hydrogen peroxide, which involves taking it orally. On the first day I had a fever. On the second day there were no side effects. My treatment is already coming to an end. I began to notice a decrease in inflammation. During this time I did not see any new rashes on myself.

I first tried taking hydrogen peroxide orally to reduce the amount of plaque on my body. But this method did not suit me, as my stomach problems worsened. Therefore, I had to limit myself to daily wiping the rashes with a solution. It seems to me that the peroxide made them lighter and less noticeable, which is already a good result.

Using peroxide in children

This method of getting rid of psoriasis can only be used by children over 15 years of age. Oral intake of hydrogen peroxide for children follows the schedule for adults. There are additional recommendations for the use of this product for the younger age category, which are listed in the table.

AgeDosage
Up to 5 yearsUse a diluted drug in a dosage of about 2 drops of peroxide per 1 spoon of liquid.
From 5 to 10 yearsOn average, take no more than 5 drops of peroxide diluted in 1 spoon of water.
From 10 to 15 yearsThe procedure involves taking peroxide in a dose of no more than 8 drops dissolved in a spoonful of liquid.

Also, to eliminate psoriasis, children undergo various manipulations based on peroxide, namely:

  • rinsing;
  • washing;
  • compresses.

It is prohibited for this age group to administer droppers with perehydrol.

Who is Professor Neumyvakin

Neumyvakin Ivan Pavlovich is a Russian medical scientist, doctor, specialist in the field of space medicine.

He is the founder of the complementary type of treatment. Neumyvakin received more than 85 patents for inventions.

He has written about 40 books and 200 scientific papers on alternative medicine. He was a laureate of the State Prize, a member of the Moscow Aviation Institute and the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.

In recent years he has been involved in healing. He believed that the disease occurs as a result of an incorrect lifestyle and an excess of harmful substances in the body.

The medical scientist was of the opinion that all pathologies incurable by official medicine (including psoriasis) can be overcome using folk methods. He proposed a method of getting rid of scaly lichen using hydrogen peroxide.

Complementary therapy is a complement to official medicine and is aimed at activating, mobilizing and redistributing the body’s own internal capabilities and reserves, which cannot be caused by the use of traditional medications.

Contraindications and side effects

Any manifestations of side effects are explained by Professor Neumyvakin as individual intolerance to H2O2. At the same time, when eliminating psoriatic rashes by using perhydrol, the following may be observed:

  • weakness and slight deterioration in the patient’s condition;
  • in rare cases, complete loss of consciousness is possible;
  • when administered orally, a burning sensation is observed in the esophagus or in the gastric tract;
  • in case of external application, hyperemia and irritation may be observed on the epidermis.

With any method of administering peroxide, there is an increase in the load on all organs and systems. This is due to the lack of oxygen saturation that occurs in most patients.

Contraindications for the treatment of psoriatic rashes with perhydrol include:

  • It is unacceptable to carry out such treatment when individual intolerance to the drug is observed;
  • pathological conditions of the gastric tract;
  • diseases of the excretory organs, especially the kidneys;
  • cardiovascular pathologies;
  • disturbances in the functionality of the respiratory organs;
  • the period of pregnancy by women;
  • people who have undergone any organ transplant.

In the case of external use, the contraindication is individual intolerance to the active drug.

Treating psoriasis with hydrogen peroxide can help eliminate breakouts and achieve long-term remission. With a positive effect in one category of patients, there may be harmful side effects in another. The key factor in determining the necessary therapy is the stage of psoriasis. It is also worth noting that paying attention to your immunity, following hygiene rules and preventive measures will allow you to remain healthy and happy.

Common Recipes

Treatment of psoriasis with hydrogen peroxide can be done at home.

For this use:

  • compresses;
  • prepared solutions for washing or rinsing;
  • medicinal lotions.

The treatment procedure should be carried out according to the following algorithm:

  • 2 teaspoons of the product are poured into 50 ml of water;
  • moisten a gauze bandage or cotton pad in this solution;
  • such a compress should be applied to damaged skin for two hours;

Doctors recommend treating the affected areas of the skin with this product immediately before applying ointments.

Droppers can only be used under the supervision of a physician. Other methods can be practiced at home. If there is a need or the patient’s health condition worsens, you should immediately seek medical help.

Cautions

When using hydrogen peroxide for therapeutic purposes against psoriasis, it is important to take precautions into account.

  • During therapy, an overdose should not be allowed, and the concentration of the medicinal composition should not be increased, violating the percentage recommended in the recipes. Because to existing problems you can unknowingly add other equally serious ones: spasms in the respiratory tract, burns of the skin or mucous membranes, irritation of the gastric mucosa.
  • It is strictly not recommended to rinse the mouth, nose or take H2O2-based solutions orally for children under 14 years of age, pregnant and breastfeeding women.

For advanced forms of psoriasis, it is better to consult a doctor, because... The situation can be greatly aggravated!

Helpful advice

If, after the first use of peroxide, severe redness, unbearable itching, skin irritation, nausea and vomiting appear, stop using peroxide therapy.
